Malang zoo Taman Rekreasi Kota
City park Taman Rekreasi Kota is located in the immediate vicinity of Boulevard Ijen, in Indonesia's Garden City Malang. It used to be a free recreation area for children in more promising times. In this little park, we came across the remainder of a small zoo more secret than the Secret Zoo in Batu.

Architecture
The Municipality appears to use the park as a storage and parking area for the police vehicles, now. Play equipment have remained desolate. All meshed animals cages are constructed of poles painted in the four primary colours just like the Google logo.
Visit October 2017
Following the small walkway past the cages of which some are occupied by animals, we come across two turkeys in a large, high aviary, and some chickens and a hanging bat in an opposite row of enclosures. A staircase leads to a fast-flowing dirty section of the Brantas. A curled python in the reptile unit downstairs. Also a monkey and a bald porcupine. Someone tells that they used to keep a lion here.
